Club members met in the evening of 14 July 2010 in the Market Square, Newbury to go on a photographic walkabout of the town.
What they didn't know was that they were going to be set a challenge to take a photo every 50 steps they walked.
No themes or guidelines were given on what should be photographed. The only "rule" was that every 50 steps a photo had to be taken.
Any member of the public watching must have wondered what was going on as individuals and small groups walked by counting out loud, stopping suddenly, and taking photos in the most bizzare places around town.
As the light faded an hour or two later, a mystical force seemed to draw everyone towards the same point, the Document House bar just off Market Square.
Over a few beers everyone said how much they enjoyed the evening and how the exercise forced them into thinking more creatively about the photos they took.
