June: Depth of Field
Getting control over the Depth of Field in an image is a skill that has to be learnt and practised. It's a balance of distance from the subject, the focal length of the lens, and aperture.
From capturing pin sharp details in a macro photo to minimising distracting backgrounds, controlling DoF is a powerful creative tool to use.
This project was an opportunity for our members to practice those skills.
