There was a lot of fun at the TPC stand on Henwick Playing Field during the Thatcham Family Fun Day 2024. In addition to displaying our photography books from the past few years, we had our members talking to visitors about photography, answering their questions and sharing tips and techniques.
However, the highlight was a photo studio we set up with a green screen background. We photographed our younger visitors (a few adults too!) and asked what animal or object they would like to be in their photo. They enjoyed watching as we merged their photo with a background image using Photoshop. After the event, everyone photographed was sent a high resolution copy of their photo by email.
