Macro Field Trip
At our regular club meeting on 13 June 2018, we released our members into the wild armed with cameras & lenses to practice the techniques we'd learnt at earlier meetings about photographing bugs and other macro items. With the help of a few kneeling pads, sturdy shoes, and insect-proof ankle-wear we trampled the undergrowth of Greenham Common looking for small things to photograph.
Of course all sensible creatures scarpered as soon as they realised a herd of wild photographers were stampeding their way.... Colin Neville wins the accolade for being the only member to actually photograph a bug... albeit from the rear end!
