Wednesday 26th June - Club Night with Speaker - Jonathan Genevaux - Waterscape Photography
https://jonathangenevaux.com/en/en-home/
Born on the West coast of France, Jonathan has built his professional photography career whilst travelling the world.
Settling in Bristol, Jonathan now has time to pursue a life-long fascination with waterscapes. He gets most of his inspiration from days spent on sand dunes and clifftops capturing wave breaks between intense sea sprays, or wading into icy lochs to capture light setting between storm clouds. He feels a body of water can change a landscape, from year to year or even hour by hour. Where water pushes its way between rock formations, and where the textures are frozen and the softened light becomes the focus.

TPC will be presenting our photobooks from the past few years to show how our members have improved their photography by joining in our meetings and activities.

NOVEMBER
Project November - Autumn
Wednesday 13th November - Club Night: What Is It? and light-trails practical photoshoot
We are delighted to welcome Burghfield & Mortimer Camera Club to join us for an evening of fun and photography.
We'll play a game of 'What Is It', where two teams try to score points by showing photos of everyday objects that are difficult for the other team to identify.
Then afterwards, we'll have a photoshoot of low light photography of moving LED lights, our Phoenix machine and some fireworks to see what light-trails we can capture.
Sunday 17th November - Digital Photography Training Course
Ever wondered why your photos are too dark or too bright? Why some are blurred? With all the automation in cameras and mobile phones these days it's really frustrating when it lets you down for those special moments.
We have put together a one-day training course to explain how the camera works, how to control it, and how to step-in when the automation will not help. The day is split into bite sized theory sessions with practical sessions in between. That way you get to learn and practice throughout the day.
There are experienced photographers on hand to give you some one-on-one help if you need it. This course is suitable for any camera type including mobile phone users.
Wednesday 27th November - Club Night: Robert Harvey - Which Lens For Which Landscape
Landscape photography conjures up the thought of wide, sweeping vistas. Are wide angle lenses really most useful? This talk demonstrates the effective use of lenses ranging from long telephotos to fish-eyes and stitched panoramas to capture the most impact.
