As a community club we are proud to work with many local organisations and groups to promote and encourage photography. Activities include providing workshops for schools and youth groups and taking photographs at local community events on behalf of the organisers, to fund raising for charities.

Community Award

We are particularly proud to have our community involvement recognised by Thatcham Town Council.

In May 2023 we were presented with the Mayor's Award for our support of the local community and the Town Council.

Each year we choose a local charity to support with our fund raising activities. For the past few years our nominated charity is Newbury Cancer Care. We are very proud of the contributions that we have been able to make to this charity. At the end of 2022 we presented a cheque for £350 to Helen Milroy, Director of Operations at Newbury Cancer Care.
