As a community club we are proud to work with many local organisations and groups to promote and encourage photography. Activities include providing workshops for schools and youth groups and taking photographs at local community events on behalf of the organisers, to fund raising for charities.

Community Award

We are particularly proud to have our community involvement recognised by Thatcham Town Council.

In May 2023 we were presented with the Mayor's Award for our support of the local community and the Town Council.

We hold two major fund raising events each year with all the proceeds going to our nominated charities.

For some years we have supported Newbury Cancer Care, and in 2023 we also started to support Sue Ryder Newbury.

​We are very proud of the contributions that we have been able to make to these charities.
