How To Join


You are welcome to come along to meetings as a visitor before you decide whether to join or not. Visitors are charged a fee of £5 per visit per person, paid on arrival by cash or contactless card.

If you enjoy the meetings and wish to join, we offer the following membership types:

Membership Types
  • Single - defined as one adult (18+).
  • Joint - defined as two adults (18+) living at the same address.
  • Junior - defined as one person under the age of 18. Juniors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult (18+)
  • SEN - defined as an adult diagnosed with Special Educational Needs. SEN adults may require the support of their carers at meetings. This can be agreed on an individual basis.​

​The club meets twice a month, usually at Thatcham Town Football Club, Waterside Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire RG19 4PA. In the warmer drier weather, some meetings are held as field trips where we go out and about as a group with our cameras.
Membership Fees
We are freezing our membership fees for the first 3 months of 2025 as we changing our membership period and financial year to run concurrently from beginning of April to the end of March.

In April we will know what our costs will be for the new financial year ahead and will calculate the new membership fees at that time.

The fees to join for the period January to end of March 2025 are:
  • 2024 - Single - £16
  • 2024 - Joint - £25
  • 2024 - Junior / SEN - £5

​To join as a member, please follow these steps:
  1. Click here to complete the new membership form.
  2. Pay the fee due, by bank transfer (preferred) when you submit the new membership form, or by contactless card in person at the next TPC meeting.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email from the Chairman confirming your details. Additional emails will provide further member information, invitations to the TPC WhatsApp groups and to the 'members only' section of the TPC website.
