Pecha Kucha
Pecha Kucha
Presented by: TPC Members
With the dark and cold nights of winter with us, we're keeping our meetings indoors for the first few months of the year.
Pecha Kucha is a presentation methodology in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (six minutes and 40 seconds in total). The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced, is a fun way to enjoy a subject.
We're giving over this evening to a number of presentations by volunteer members of the club. Expect a wide variety of subjects, and a lot of fun.

What is It? slideshow & discussion
Presented by: TPC Members
With the dark and cold nights of winter with us, we're keeping our meetings indoors for the first few months of the year.
For this meeting, members have been invited to submit photos of everyday objects taken from unusual perspectives to hide their true identity.
A slideshow of these photos will be shown with members trying to guess what the object is. This will lead into a discussion with the photographer how the image was taken and the challenges faced.

Peter Crane ARPS - Street Photography
Peter Crane ARPS - Street Photography
Presented by: Peter Crane ARPS - www.petercrane.co.uk
Street photography for Peter is an instinctive urge and after nine or ten years of wandering the streets with his camera it still is to some extent about staying curious and inspired – and then looking for that decisive moment.
Based in Swindon he goes to busy public places, wandering the streets just looking for things that move or inspire him in some way. Always looking for characters he has been known to follow someone to get a better image, perhaps with a better background, just trying to tell a story in a single frame or trying to capture a decisive moment.
